This course is a prerequisite for ECG, Pharmacy Tech, and Phlebotomy. It discusses in detail the following topics: the key elements of professionalism; the health care industry and your role; your work ethic and performance; personal traits of health care professionals; relationships, teamwork and communication skills; cultural competence and patient care; professionalism and your personal life; the practicum experience; employment and professional development.
