CCMA is an advanced Nursing Assistant, students are required to obtain their CNA certification, Medication Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician Certificate to excel in this program. Students will learn the basics of being a Clinical Medical Assistant and are prepared to take the Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam provided by the National Healthcareer Association and or the MedCA exam taken onsite at our facility. The topics included in the program of study are medical office administration, professional responsibilities, patient care, safety, infection control, EKG monitoring, and phlebotomy. A student must be 18 years of age prior to enrollment and have a high school diploma or a transcript corresponding prior to graduation
