Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) is a public, two-year institution within the South Carolina Technical College System. Phlebotomy Technician (Hybrid)-CE
The student will learn basic phlebotomy skills and demonstrate competency in basic blood collection to include venipuncture, butterfly, and syringe draws, in order to successfully pass the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam administered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). The classroom portion will be conducted online and the lab portion will be conducted in-person. Student may register for course if they provide: Copy of High School Diploma or GED, Copy of Driver’s License or ID, Student must purchase a 2-pc Black Scrub Uniform prior to start of course (Must wear everyday), Completed CWD Registration form, Student has received a copy of the Healthcare Handbook and agrees to policies and procedures.
