Program description:

The course will cover the physical comfort and safety function specified to Nursing Assistant. This includes modules on patient care, proper procedures for geriatric and adult patient’s right, law proving patient privacy and confidentiality, infection control, nutrition, physical and social support, legal and ethical consideration, and documentation. This course will be taught to provide and prepare students for the state exam required to obtain certification from the state of South Carolina. After successful completion of the course (100 hours) each student will receive a certification of completion from LowCounty Medical Training Center, LLC.
