Franklin Home Health Agency Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP)

Program description:

The program has been designed to provide a basic level of both knowledge and demonstrable skills for individuals who will provide nursing or nursing related services to residents in a skilled nursing facility or patients in the home. The complete course shall be for a total of 100 hours to include 40 classroom instruction, 20 hours lab hours and 40 hours clinical experience. The program shall be conducted over a duration of four (4) weeks for all scheduled evening classes and for a duration of three (3) weeks for scheduled daytime classes. The time-frames specified are all based on the inclusion of both class-room, clinical, and study groups sessions, however shall be subject to change to include holiday's and/or unexpected occurrences which is out of the control of the institution. The program will maintain a minimum of 6 enrollments for a course to start however, each class shall not exceed 8 students per instructor for scheduled class-room instruction and shall not exceed 8 students per instructor for all clinical training. In the event that the start dates of classes are rescheduled, each student shall be notified by US Mail, telephone, email and/or other media. Similarly, for class cancellation due to inclement weather, sickness or other unforeseen circumstance, notification shall be provided as noted. It shall be the responsibility of the student to provide Franklin Home Health Agency, LLC written confirmation stating their intent to withdraw or continue their application. Note: Refunds will remain in compliance with the Refund Policy as note herewith. As per regulatory guidelines, each student shall participate in the use of equipment such as wheelchairs and hoyer lift.
