Nursing Assistant Program
4 week program three days a week classroom and lab study and two days a week clinical in long term care facility. 5th week is career week where students can interview for jobs. This course introduces basic nursing skills required to provide personal care for patients, residents, or clients in a health care setting. Topics include communications, safety, patient's rights, personal care, vital signs, elimination, nutrition, emergencies, rehabilitation, and mental health.
