Program description:

This 6 month Billing and Coding course offers the abilities expected to perform complex coding and billing methodology.The program covers: CPT (Presentation, Rules, Assessment and The executives), specialty fields (like a medical procedure, radiology and research center), the ICD-10 for both diagnosis and procedure coding, and basic claims processes for insurance reimbursements. The coursework for our medical billing and coding program includes a mic of technical knowledge, healthcare information, and business topics. Students will learn the necessary medical terminology, the cycle of healthcare claims, and medical coding systems. This course will be a total of 300 hours and consist of an online learning environment with in person clinicals. After successful completion of the course the learner will be able to take their national certification through National Healthcare Association.
