Program description:

This 2 month Electronic Health Records courses are designed to provide students with the knowledge of skills regarding the management of electronic health records (EHRs). Students will learn about medical terminology, code sets, ethics, and regulations, as well as the importance of capturing health information accurately and completely. Students will also learn how to input, retrieve, interpret, and process data from an EHR system and perform the tasks of a health records specialist in a healthcare facility. This course will be a total of (100 Hours) and consist of a hybrid learning environment. Learners will attend in person class two days a week and also complete online modules that correlate with in person studies.
