To meet the growing demand for capable machine operators throughout our local economy, Tri-County Technical College and the Center for Workforce Excellence has developed the CPOfM program. It is an intense 2 week certification course intended to prepare serious job seekers or current machine operators to enter and be successful in an entry-level manufacturing career. Introductions and hands-on labs to all major machine processes: Electro and Mechanical - Fluid, Electrical, PLC, Robotics Hands-On certifications on over two dozen machine specific tasks. Quality Systems, Principles of Precision Measurement, ISO 9001, Six Sigma and TQM Lean Manufacturing Practices; 5S, OEE and Root Cause Analysis, OSHA 10 Hour certification Team Building, Effective Communication.
