Truck drivers are responsible for delivering a wide range of items, from automobiles to canned foods. Companies across various industries depend on trucks for efficient pickup and delivery services, as no other mode of transportation offers the convenience of delivering goods door to door. Our Class-A Truck Driver program (Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training) provides the optimal balance between classroom learning and on-the-road training to better prepare students for the CDL exam. Class sizes are small, and our experienced instructors provide insight into what it’s like to be a truck driver. The curriculum provides students with training to inspect and operate tractor-trailers and to assume driver responsibilities on the road and at pick-up/delivery points.
York Technical College has partnered with Ancora training to offer students CDL courses.
