Security Operations Center Level I - STBS

Program description:

Objective: Job-relatable, relative training instructions, hands-on SOC experience for real- world cybersecurity operations. Mode: Virtual first (Synchronous and Instructor Led) Duration: 6 MONTHS (600 Hours or 24 Weeks). Registration Fee: $0. Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, ISC2 CC, GISF, SSCP, NTOP NG, Wazuh, Splunk, Cisco CyberOps, CheckPoint. Prerequisites: None (Will recognize prior vendor neutral certifications). Overview: ISC2 CC, CompTIA Sec+, AWS CFL-C02 and CompTIA CySA+:These certifications and their exams are open to all learners while in the program. We have implemented study groups and make up classes specific to these exams. Any learner could lead a study group to extend their understanding of the concepts. Following this arrangement learners and facilitators do a deep dive into the practice question and answers. The recommendation is to obtain the first two certificates while in the program. All learners will continue to have access to the study group long after graduation. This allows mature learners to transfer their knowledge and continue to be current after graduation. Graduates with the above certificates could qualify for the Cyber Security Defense Analyst registered apprenticeship program (RAP) by continuous work in the field for up to a year. The International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or ISC2, assist with co-branding of our initiative with 1MCybersecurity Certification, examination and free vouchers for our students. Center for Cyber Safety and education: They assist with group study, AMF cost and resume reviews. PCFORPEOPLE provides our learners with affordable, discounted, and accessible technology (Computer hardware/software). SWA Connect : They provide us with free tablets for those on assistance.
