Program description:

The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) is the premier certification for Personal Trainers in the United States. This is a 60-hour course, including 30 hours of online instruction and 30 hours of classroom instruction, lab, and experiential training. Students who successfully complete the Personal Trainer course through TCTC will become certified with a NASM Personal Trainer Certificate, and a NASM Certificate of Distinction. Certification testing is included in the cost of tuition. As a Certified Personal Trainer, workplace options will vary depending on interests as a PT. Possible employment opportunities include Fitness and Recreational Centers, Civic and Social Organizations, Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers, and Self Employment.
