The Center for Advancement & Learning
The Center for Advancement & Learning is a state-licensed vocational training center in Simpsonville, SC, offering healthcare education programs for working adults. Our state-approved Nurse Aide Training program is a 100-hour, 6-week certification course combining hybrid instruction with hands-on skills training. Led by a CRNA with 23+ years of healthcare experience and taught by experienced LPN/RN instructors, we provide small-class training (12-15 students max) preparing students for the SC NNAAP certification exam and immediate healthcare employment opportunities. We plan to expand to additional healthcare certification programs to meet regional workforce needs.
Nurse Aide Training Program
State-approved 100-hour Nurse Aide Training Program combining hybrid instruction with hands-on skills lab training and supervised clinical experience at approved healthcare facilities. Students learn essential nursing assistant skills including patient care, vital signs, infection control, communication, and professional conduct. Program prepares students for the South Carolina NNAAP (National Nurse Aide Assessment Program) certification examination. Graduates eligible for immediate employment in hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, home health, and other healthcare settings. Small class size (12-15 students max) with experienced LPN/RN instructors. 6-week accelerated format designed for working adults.
