ASCP Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is a nationally and internationally recognized credential that validates an individual's knowledge, skills, and commitment to performing safe and effective blood collection. To earn the certification, candidates must complete an approved phlebotomy training program and pass an examination covering specimen collection and processing, infection control, quality assurance, professional ethics, and relevant anatomy and physiology.
