Pharmacy Technician

Program description:

Our 14-week, 140-clock hour Pharmacy Technician Program teaches the basics of being a pharmacy technician and are prepared to take the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification exam provided by the National Healthcareer Association taken at the facility. Students may also choose to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam( PTCE) offered by The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Topics included in the program of study are pharmacy terminology, medical abbreviations, ethics, medication technician knowledge, general mathematics, pharmacology, and onsite or virtual hands-on clinical application. Students will complete a minimum of 20 hours of clinicals in any pharmacy setting approved by the Next Level Healthcare Institute.
