This Cloud and Data Management training course will allow the student to gain the skills necessary for day-to-day Cloud and administration of databases. Studnets can opt to take any ONE course from the following: Oracle or SAP HANA/CRM/MM/FICO or MS SQL Admin or Big Data Administration or ETL or AWS administrator or Cloud Operations on AWS or AWS developer or AWS Solutions Architect or Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure or Data Analyst CBDA or Data Scientist or Six Sigma or Artificial Intelligence or SAS data analyst or SharePoint Admin MCITP or Tableau Associate or Microsoft Power BI or Web Design and Development Databases. The primary audiences for this course are studnets knowledgeable in IT or database administrators, web server administrators, implementation specialists, data center support engineers, senior application designers and developers. This course also provides the hands-on experience to install, configure and manage the Apache Hadoop platform and its associated ecosystem. Attendees learn to monitor Hadoop using built-in functionality and associated tools like Ganglia. Additionally, they learn to optimize resource allocation related to the file system and MapReduce. This course also covers techniques of ensuring robustness, efficiency and high availability using approaches such as redundancy and Name Node Federation. In addition to coverage of core Hadoop administration, attendees are exposed to the management of Pig, Hive, Zookeeper, Oozie and Hbase, as well as the challenges related to backup, recovery and security. Sqoop and Flume will be employed to demonstrate the migration of data into and out of Hadoop.
