Our EKG Technician course prepares students to perform electrocardiograms and understand the heart’s basic electrical activity. Through classroom instruction and hands on practice, students will learn proper lead placement, patient preparation, infection control procedures, equipment operation, and how to recognize common heart rhythms and recording errors. This course is ideal for individuals interested in working in hospitals, cardiology offices, clinics, physician practices, and other healthcare settings. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to pursue national certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
